Lincoln & York - New Website Now Live!

In the year which saw us revel in our history (25 years of roasting coffee), we wanted to celebrate by investing in our future.

One of the ways we have chosen to do that is to update and improve our website for our visitors and customers.

Given that the last 6 months alone has seen the overall traffic to our site increase by 17.85%, including a rise in new visitors (16.78%), as well as realising a combined 36% of traffic comes from mobile or tablet, we thought it was time for an overhaul.

Customer Portal - Coming Soon!

First and foremost, we wanted our customers to directly benefit and have further reason to visit our site. The inclusion of a customer portal will allow individual customers to log-in and access a range of our latest coffee offerings, including our coffee bags and Black Eye Cold Brew lines.

Furthermore, we have introduced a ‘resource’ area, allowing our customers to download all kinds of useful materials from coffee training guides to origin information.

Although this area is not yet accessible, it will be in the coming weeks. If you’re one of our customers, you’ll be notified in due course.

Content Refresh

In an ever-evolving industry, it can be tricky to keep on top of website updates. So, we've taken this opportunity to refresh what we have to say, as well as adding some extra areas to explore such as our bespoke blend section and case study area.

On top of this we’ve made our bean to cup process more thorough and transparent, highlighting our dedication to training, marketing & support in doing so. Each of these additions provide you with further access to what we do and how we do it.

New imagery not only complements our branding but provides an overall aesthetic which showcases the very best of our company and the industry.

User Friendly Design

Web design is always subjective but one thing we wanted to concentrate on is the user experience of the site. Can our visitors find what they are looking for, on any device, without any issues?

Layout and arrangement of content and imagery was always going to be important, as was the menu structure. We wanted to make the best parts of our business most prominent but in a design that was not overwhelming with too much information.

One thing we couldn't wave goodbye to was our team photo animations! You’ll all be delighted to see our staff are still dabbing, swilling and waving away on the team page!
