As your coffee partner we’re here to offer you more than coffee, whether that’s through training programmes or marketing data, we can tailor your support depending on your requirements.
From barista training at our facility or yours, coffee tasting workshops and cuppings, our team are well equipped to give you the skills you need to serve a good cup of coffee.
As well as customised training, we are a registered City & Guilds barista training centre. Running a monthly two-day City & Guilds Level 2 Barista Skills course at the roastery, we will give you a beginner’s guide to coffee and teach you everything you need to know about serving the perfect cup.
To find out more about the course, click here or email training@lincolnandyork.com for availability.
Delve into the history of where coffee came from, how it was discovered and how different extractions can change the taste profile of coffee.
Learn how to make the key coffee beverages and add latte art as we teach you the basic barista skills. The course will end with a tour of our state-of-the-art Roastery, and an exclusive look at how we roast coffee.
“As a newbie to the coffee industry, the City & Guilds course was a great introduction to learn as much as possible, quickly. Even in a sales role, the practical element of preparing the drinks was most useful and can now confidently complete training of my own.”
Paul
“If anyone needs to build confidence, this is a great way to develop their coffee skills, especially if steaming milk isn't a strong point. As well as useful, it was a very enjoyable course and would highly recommend. ”
Emma
“The course provides both a theoretical and practical element, making it a great two days focusing solely on coffee! It was fantastically useful and a good base to build my skill set. ”
